William Estes (deceased)
Bill Estes began drawing and painting in 1999. His training was both formal and informal. Classes included: Bob Ross painting class; audit of several art classes at Orange County Community College; graphite pencil and colored pencil techniques taken at Oasis; watercolor class with David Burns; watercolor class at Joanne Fabrics. He enjoyed working with several media including oils, acrylics, watercolors, charcoal, mixed media collage, graphite pencils, and colored pencils.
Estes was an award winning artist, including a Jurors Award at the 2011 IAC Spring Show. He was also a 2010 Grumbacher instructor. He generously applied his past experience as the Wednesday Program Coordinator for the Irondequoit Art Club for 5 years.
